Organization Mission
Macon Tennis Connect in conjunction with the City of Macon's John Drew Smith and Tattnall Tennis Centers has a mission to grow tennis in Macon, Ga. through Adult and Junior Programs, Socials, Tournaments and Leagues. Our website was created for you, so that you may find a program, a tournament, a coach, or anything tennis related. Become a member so that you may register for programs, make online payments, and use our court scheduler to reserve your court in advance. As a member, you will also have access to unique benefits such as find-a-player, and locate other tennis facilities if you are out of town. Tennis is the sport for life. We welcome everyone from ages 5 to 105!

JUNIOR PROGRAMS
Jr. Dev. Part I will introduce your child to the basic strokes that are required to play tennis (forehand, backhand, volley, serve, and the overhead) using games and drills that will also teach proper footwork, and how to connect with the ball. Four-week program offered on Tuesdays & Saturdays. Class meets one day per week. Choose the day that fits your schedule . Check calendar for upcoming schedule.

| Jr. Dev Part II will build on what was learned in the Beginner Class. This program provides drills and rallying games that will enhance your skills tremendously, and prepare your for match play. Four-week program offered on Thursdays & Saturdays. Class meets one day per week. Choose the day that fits your schedule. Check calendar for upcoming schedule |
Future Stars will focus on learning parts of the court and racquet, ball balance, ball tracking, proper footwork, conditioning, eye-hand coordination skills, racquet skills and connecting with the ball. Parents are required to assist to enhance the overall experience for your child. Class is held each Saturday for 60 minutes each session. Check calendar for upcoming schedule
Middle GA Tennis Academy (ages 8-18) Appropriate for graduates of Player Development Part II, middle and high school players, and tournament players of all levels. Focus is on live-ball drills and match play in small skill-based groups. Class is offered twice a week (Mondays -Prepaid & Saturdays - Drop-in).

ADULT PROGRAMS
USA 1-2-3 - Part I
Beginner classes that teach the basic strokes to get you ready to play. Saturday and morning classes are also offered. Must sign up at least three days in advance. Next class starts on Monday, September 8th

Skills and Drills -Part II Intermediate Drills that will build on what you learnt in Part I, and have you prepared for match play. Ongoing program. Saturday and morning classes are also offered.. Must sign up at least three days in advance. Next class starts Tuesday, September 9th

Social League - Part III
Now the real fun begins! Teams are created, and with the assistance of the on-site coordinator, you will experience match play in a social environment. Court etiquette, rules, scoring are all taught as part of the "on-the-job" training. You must sign up in advance so that you can be placed on a team. Next league starts
Sunday, September 7th. Register for Part I, II, and III and receive a free racquet and tennis shirt! Details available on our adult program page.
